Civil rights leader the Rev. Dr. Albert Sampson will be worshiping with us at United on Sunday, February 25, at our regular 10:30 am worship time. We look forward to hearing an interview with this leader and to share with some questions and answers.
As usual, the service will be available live streamed.
You are invited to celebrate International Women’s Day and to learn more about a remarkable witness by seeing a movie. Special price available. We can make this a party.
Just a reminder: Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 5. We will fall back one hour, so the night before be sure you reset your clocks. But don’t worry; if you show up early for church, we’ll still be glad to have you here!
Our annual Trunk or Treat event will be Saturday, October 28, from 1 – 3 PM. This is a community outreach project, providing families in our neighborhood with a safe trick or treat environment — and an invitation to visit with our church.
As always, we need volunteers to make this work. Volunteers need to be available at 12:30 PM to begin setup. You can decorate your trunk, you can costume yourself, and you can meet and have fun with the children and families in our community.
The COVID clinics will resume on Saturday, Oct. 14, with the new and updated vaccines.
This is an outreach to our members and to the community at large. Our goal is to bring healing to the South Suburbs in the midst of the continuing endemic.
